Module Manufacturing
Module Manufacturing
Module’s 30,000 square foot Last Mile Facility, located in Allegheny County, produces and ships Module-Designed homes regionally with better quality control and faster build times. The company is currently licensed as a modular manufacturer in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina. Licensing in Maryland, New York, and Michigan is in process. Our facility was intentionally opened with a low barrier to entry. It has become a beacon for workforce development and community education.
Pioneering Innovation in Housing
Our Pittsburgh-area manufacturing facility brings modular production, innovation, and workforce development under one roof. Designed as a more accessible approach to off-site construction, the facility creates opportunities to learn, build skills, and pursue careers in the construction trades.
Workforce Development
Workforce development is built into our manufacturing model. Through partnerships with organizations like the Trade Institute of Pittsburgh, Literacy Pittsburgh, Partner 4 Work, and other community organizations, Module creates pathways for people to move from training into hands-on experience and full-time careers in offsite construction.
We’re proud to be part of a larger network working to strengthen Pittsburgh’s construction workforce.
“What makes Module such a valued partner is their open lines of communication and the flexibility they offer while working with our graduates. Module believes in TIP. Their work environment mirrors the culture we have established here at TIP. Module values our teachings and never hesitates to expose our students and graduates to growth opportunities.”
