3 Units | Pittsburgh, PA | Module’s role: Design, Build (GC)

Located in Pittsburgh, PA, this project includes 1 detached and 2 semi-attached affordable housing units.

Each unit is our Noble Model, a 3-Bedroom, 1.5 Bathroom 1,470 GSF single family home. Each home was placed on top of a 575 sf conditioned basement.

The first detached home in this series features a visitable first floor including a zero-step entry, clear pathways within the home to the bathroom, and blocking to provide a solid base for installing grab bars, handrails, and other accessibility features helping to ensure residents can adapt to future needs and age in place.

City of Bridges Community Land Trust partnered with Bloomfield Garfield Corporation to bring these affordable homes to the neighborhood.

The permanently affordable community land trust model ensures that the homes are affordable for income-qualified buyers who may otherwise be priced out of the neighborhood, allowing homeowners to build assets and improve their financial freedom. The for-sale price for each unit is $205,000.

This project was built by City of Bridges Community Land Trust, who secured grants from Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, the Urban Redevelopment Authority, and several local philanthropic sources.
